Erica Timmerman - Val Maloney
Erica Timmerman is a reporter and freelance writer. She graduated in 2006 with a BA in English and Art History from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and then went on to pursue a post-grad diploma in Journalism at Humber Polytechnic in Toronto.
Erica's interests are primarily in literature and sports. She has run in a number of road races including the Toronto Half Marathon, the Toronto Waterfront Half Marathon and the Mississauga Half Marathon.
In 2008 she traveled in Europe and drove across Canada twice. Ending up on the west coast, she currently lives and works in the town of Squamish, B.C., where mountains surround her and a variety of activities occupy her time.
